Roam came to us with a powerful vision: a product that would help millions of people connect in more natural, authentic ways. They knew the opportunity — but weren't experienced in building products.
We joined them from 0 to 1, helping them discover key user problems while testing and validating product solutions.
The social connection space is crowded. Roam needed to identify a precise target audience, understand their real pain points, and build a product that solved a genuine problem — not just another networking app.
To identify the target audience and assess real pain points, we conducted 15 user interviews with Roam's core demographic — early professionals navigating new cities and social environments.
With a firm understanding of our audience, we brainstormed feasible solutions addressing the core problems of early adopters. After prioritising the most impactful features, we prototyped a product ready for user feedback.
We shared our prototype with 75 survey recipients who provided essential qualitative and quantitative feedback on features they could genuinely see themselves using. We analyzed every response for themes, then worked with Roam to narrow the core feature set for the MVP.
From our initial research, we narrowed Roam's unique value proposition and gained traction with an initial set of core users. Our work with Roam continues — they've asked us to help build out their product development process, develop a unique brand strategy, and prepare for a full go-to-market launch.

A property management rewards platform rewarding tenants for on-time payments and lease renewals. We validated the concept, pivoted the product, and launched a campaign that led to a TechStars invitation.
The founder of Oasyst came to us on a mission: make property management easier for small, self-managed landlords. The original concept needed validation before a single line of code was written.
Oasyst needed to validate product-market fit without a product. We had to identify real pain points across both landlords and tenants, and find a solution compelling enough to build an audience before launch.
We facilitated 10 user interviews and collected survey feedback from landlords and renters across the internet. After analysing their concerns and pain points, we identified key trends and redirected the product concept.
We returned to the drawing board and developed a new concept: a tenant rewards platform offering discounts to local shops, restaurants, and events for on-time rent payments and lease renewals.
The new solution included integrated payment collection, automated reminders, and a clear rewards structure — solving the core retention problem elegantly for both landlords and tenants.
After brainstorming and validating our new idea with our audience, it was time to launch the MVP. In this case, to streamline data collection and gain traction as efficient as possible, we launched simple landing pages where people could sign up for our waitlist.
We set them up with a full marketing package, creating and delivering targeted ads across a wide range of marketing channels including Facebook Ads, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google, and Email. We regularly optimized the marketing assets and evaluated performance each step of the way.
